My aim is to make counselling accessible for anyone who may need it, regardless of their situation.

I am an integrative counsellor. I believe that there is no one type of therapy that fits all clients, and I will work with you to find what is right for you.

Sessions are 50 minutes and take place on a weekly basis. They are usually at the same time and on the same day each week, but I understand that this isn't always possible and I will endeavour to accommodate any changes due to childcare issues or shift work.

I also offer Skype and telephone counselling.

Counselling can truly change lives at times when nothing seems possible...

Frequently asked questions...

I work very unusual hours, is counselling still possible?

Yes definitely. I aim to be as flexible as possible and I work with many shift workers.

I may struggle to get to you. Can I still have counselling?

Yes I also offer counselling via Skype and on the telephone.

How many sessions will I need?

Some people find 12 sessions is enough. Some people stay for two years or more. I will offer you as many or as few sessions as you need.

What happens if I want to cancel a session?

I need 48 hours notice to cancel a session. If not, I will try my best to rearrange or the missed session will be chargeable.

What if I want to finish counselling?

You are free to finish counselling whenever you wish. However, I recommend discussing it and planning an ending that you can feel completely comfortable with.

Will you tell anyone what I talk about?

Our sessions are confidential. If I have any concerns I will discuss them with you. Sometimes I will need to seek advice from my supervisor but this will be fully explained during our first session.

What happens if I am struggling to pay for my sessions?

If you find that you are struggling to afford your sessions or that your financial situation has suddenly changed, I am happy to discuss reduced sessions.

What do I do if I don't feel you're right for me?

There are many different counsellors and counselling approaches available.I will be happy to recommend one that would suit your needs better.

What if you have no spaces available?

Sometimes I am very busy and may not be able to see you straight away. If this happens, I have a waiting list and will be in touch as soon as a space becomes available.
